Day 090

I want money. I need money.
I don't enjoy being 'poor'.
Sure, I have food to eat, and clothes to wear, and a roof over my head.
But I want to know that I have money, and that I can buy what I need, when I need it.
I don't want to have to bug my parents all the time for money.
You know what I mean?
One more thing...
They're adorable.
Seriously.

Day 089

I got my April calendar today at school. On one of the days, it said that the grade 9's had to take their Literacy Test. If you didn't know what a literacy test is, it's pretty much your reading and writing skills. But I think that whoever made the calendar failed their literacy test, or didn't do too well on it. Here's why...
I found the irony funny.
But the point is, I can't stand spelling and grammatical errors. It bothers me to no end.

Day 088

So I've become very obsessed with Victoria's Secret PINK collection. Since my friend is going to Vaughan Mills Mall soon, I'm going to give her some money to pick me up the following...
Those ^ track pants in that colour.
That ^ shirt in that colour. The back is all lace, it's adorable.
Those ^ shorts in that colour. I love pink.
That ^ skirt in that colour. Skirts have become another one of my many obsessions.
And finally, that ^ tank top. Now I'll just need some bandeau's to go with it...
After much anticipation and waiting, THE GROG BLOG IS BACK! You may be wondering, what in the hell is The Grog Blog?! Well, the bass guitarist of the Jonas Brothers, Greg Garbowsky (Garbo for short), started a blog a while back, but it got hacked by stupid teenie boppers. After shutting the blog down in 2008, it has since returned to the blogging network.
One more little tidbit to add to my blog; I am completely and utterly infatuated with this show. Anyone else with me on this one?

Day 085

The wonderful boyfriend came over today after school. We pretty much just cuddled together for a good two hours. It was amazing. He's amazing.
While we were cuddling, I was practically mesmerized by his scent. I absolutely love it when
I can still smell him on my clothes even after he's gone home. It makes me crazy.

Day 084

Today, Trace Cyrus announced over his Twitter that his band Metro Station will no longer be together. Metro Station was the first band I ever saw in concert. It was the summer of 2008 and I went with my older brother and his girlfriend at the time. It was at the Kool Haus in Toronto, Canada. Being my first concert, I was very excited. I danced and sang along to all of their songs and had an amazing time. I'll never forget that night. Having them break up has deeply saddened me, but I support their decision like only a true fan would.
Speaking of Metro Station, Trace Cyrus has gotten quite a bit of criticism and hate that last couple of months. In all honesty, he did nothing to deserve any of it. He's a good person, just like you and me. He's had a lot happen to him throughout the years, and I think he's handled it very maturely.
What are your thoughts on Metro Station? Did you like their music? Were you a fan of them like me?

Day 081

Sorry about the mini blogging-hiatus. I was at my grandparents house from Wednesday to yesterday (Sunday) and they don't have internet connection, let alone a working computer. So, there was no way for me to blog. Anywho, before I left for my grandparents house on Wednesday, I grabbed a pack of gum out of the drawer and it just happened to be Dentyne. I remember when dentyne came out with the 'Make Face Time' campaign. It was to promote shutting off your communication devices and spending time with the people you care about. I can relate to the campaign a lot because I spend quite a bit of time on my computer and on my phone.
Do you have the same problem?

Something else I thought about this week was who I wanted my future husband to be. I've thought about quite a few people; my boyfriend, this kid named Keegan that goes to my school, even Joe Jonas. I've gone through pretty much every good looking guy I know.
I know, I'm weird. You'll get used to that.
Who do you think you're going to marry in the future?
One more thing I want to mention today is the above statement.
A few years ago, I fell in love with a boy. Yes, love. I was only 12-13 at the time. But it was love (another story for another time). We barely speak anymore, except for the occasional time when he says 'hi' to me in the halls, like today for instance. When he walked away, I remembered how in love with him I was and how that ruined an amazing friendship. Sometimes, I wonder what would have happened if we had kept dating...
I wouldn't have the amazing boyfriend I have now.
I probably would have lost a few friends and gained a few enemies.
I would probably be a loner.
But hey, everything happens for a reason, right?
Much Love & God Bless,
- The Girl In Her Own World.
ps. How were your march breaks? Did you go on vacation? Did you spend time with your family? Or did you get sick like me?
